Download MSDE2000A

Instruction of how to install MSDE 2000A

1, MSDE 2000A can be installed in the following Windows:

Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Home Edition, with SP2.
Windows 2000 Professional.
Windows Millennium Edition.
Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition.
Windows 2000 Server.

1.1 Before install MSDE2000A, you must uninstall other MS MSLQL server first.

2, Download MSDE2000A.zip from this website, save in your computer, and remember the location where you save the file.

3, Unzip MSDE2000A.zip to folder: C:\MSDERelA

4, Open folder C:\MSDERelA, open setup.ini file to make sure it has these lines:

[Options]
BLANKSAPWD=1
SECURITYMODE=SQL
DISABLENETWORKPROTOCALS=0

5, Run setup.exe

6, Wait about 1 minute, untill the installation finised. Note that, when the installation is finished, there is no meSsage to tell that the installation is complete. So just wait for while.

7, Restart Windows. The MSDE2000A will start automatically when the Windows starts. You should see the MSSQL server icon on the right bottom the sceen.

8, The installation is finished. You now can install the ADEL program.

Download MSDE Version 7

1, Download ADEL 3200K V6.2.zip.

2, Unzip file to a new folder.

3, Write all files to a CD.

4, Run setup file from the CD.

5, Only install MSSQL server from this CD, do not install the ADEL software from the CD. (The ADEL software is older version.)

6, After install the MSSQL server, install the ADEL software from CD which was provided by Master Controls previously.
